Just wanted to see what your favorite scenes were...

What's funny about me is that I memorized my favorite scenes and dictate them to my friends (who are HP fans as well). They get a laugh out of it once in a while.

My favorite scenes are the ones that involved Remus Lupin (David Thewlis). The best would be the Shrieking Shack scene.

[Sirius:] Brilliant Snape; once again you've put your keen and penetrating mind to the task and as usual come to the wrong conclusion. Now if you'll excuse us, Remus and I have some unfinished business to attend to.

[Snape:] Give me a reason. I beg you.

[Remus:] Severus, don't be a fool.

[Sirius:] He can't help it. It's habit by now.

[Remus:] Sirius, be quiet...

[Sirius:] Be quiet yourself, Remus!

[Snape:] Listen to you two, quarrelling like an old married couple.

[Sirius:] Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set?

[Snape:] I could do it, you know. But why deny the Dementors? They're so longing to see you. Do I detect a flicker of fear? Oh yes.The Dementor's Kiss. One can only imagine what that must be like to endure. It's said to be nearly unbearable to witness but I'll do my best.

I have a lot.... but one of my favorites has got to be when Hermione finally puts Draco in his place... "You foul, loathesome, evil little cockroach!" *Smack* Draco goes down! Very Happy

I have to agree. I am rereading the book right now, and Hermione actually slaps him in the face and they inside the school.

I'll post the other Lupin scenes after a while, but I really like this one from Divination class:

[Trelawney:] Your aura is pulsing my dear. Are you in the beyond? I think you are.

[Ron:] Sure...

[Trelawney:] Cup... tell me what you see.

[Ron:] Oh yeah um... well um Harry got sort of a wonky cross,
[checks the book]
[Ron:] that's 'trials and suffering'. And that there could be the sun and that's
[checks book again]
[Ron:] 'happiness'. So you're gonna suffer but you're gonna be happy about it.

[Lupin:] Looking rather ragged, aren't we, Sirius? Finally, the flesh reflects the madness within.

[Sirius:] Well, you'd know all about the madness within, wouldn't you Remus?

[Lupin:] [lowers wand, helps Sirius up and hugs him]

[Sirius:] He's here.

[Lupin:] I know.

[Sirius:] I found him.

[Lupin:] I understand.

[Hermione:] No! I trusted you! And all this time, you've been his friend! He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing classes!

[Lupin:] [turns to Hermione] How long have you known?

[Hermione:] Since Professor Snape set the essay.

[Lupin:] Well, well, well, Hermione. You really are the brightest witch of your age I've ever met.

[Sirius:] Enough talk Remus! Let's kill him!

[Remus:] Wait!

[Sirius:] I did my waiting! 12 years of it! In Azkaban!

[Remus:] [hands wand to Sirius] All right. Kill him. But wait one more minute. Harry needs to know why.

My fave was when HArry had the mauraders map and snape checked it and it called him some names... Other than that I was barfing into my pop corn container cuz I hated the movie THAT much!!!

For the sake of it:

Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other people's business.

Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git.

Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor.

Mr. Wormtail bids Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball.

I would vote for Moony and Padfoot.

When Harry is in the coridor looking for Peter Pettigrew and snape confronts him. Then Lupin comes and Snape says.

i also found it very creepy when harry mentioned that he saw pettigrew on the map and lupin said "thats... not possible..."

Hermione: It's on his suitcase, Ronald.

Ginny: The Fat lady, she's gone!
Ron: Serves her right. She was a terrible singer.

Hermione: Did I mention it's the most haunted building in Britain?
Ron: Twice.
Hermione: Oh. Do you want to move a bit closer?
Ron: Huh?
Hermione: To the Shrieking Shack.
Ron: Oh, no. I'm fine here

Draco: Well, well. Look who's here.
You two shopping for your new dream home?
Bits grand for you, isn't it, Weasle-Bee?
Don't your family sleep in one room?
Ron: Shut your mouth Malfoy.
Draco: Not very friendly, are we?
Boys, I think it's time we teach Weasle-Bee how to respect his superiors.
Hermione: Hope you don't mean yourself.
Draco: How dare you talk to me!

*Harry throws a snowball*
Draco: Who was that?!
*Another snowball comes*
Draco: Don't just stand there ! Do something!
*Draco and his possey runs away.*

Draco: Oh look who's here, come to see the show?
Hermione: You! You foul loathsome evil little cockroach!
Ron: Hermione, no! He's not worth it.
*Draco laughs, making Hermione even more mad.*
*PUNCH*
*Draco and his crew runs away*
Hermione: That felt good.
Ron: Not good, brilliant!

Hermione: Ow. That looks really painful.
Ron: It's so painful. They uh, they might chop it.
Hermione: I'm sure Madame Pomfrey will fix it in a heartbeat.
Ron: It's too late, it's ruined. It'll have to be chopped off.

I also loved the parts when Ron and Hermione held hands and when Hermione was hugging and crying on Ron's shoulder when Buckbeak was getting executed.

My favorite part of the movie is when Harry & Hermione use the time-turner.

I loved it when Lupin was transforming, and snape came out and protected them, I was like 'WOO! go snape'. And then after that he like gets knocked down, and gos 'argh' I can't help but laugh at that, hehe. He is amazing XDXD

I love that film, best book and best film. Very Happy

When Remus and Sirius hug; Hands down.
I become even more of a fangirl every time I watch that scene. I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it.

Then my other favorite parts are;

1. Sirius grabbing onto Remus when he transforms. All the talking included.

2. Snape protecting the trio. Aww, Snapey!

3. Ron/Hermione parts.

4. When Snape catches Harry out (looking for Peter) and he gets angry at the map for not revealing itself. Then Remus standing up for Harry& how he's amazed that Harry has the map.

FAV MOVIE besides OotP.

When Harry said-'This is not NORMAL!',when hermione punched malfoy in face...Snape protecting H/HR/R.when harry says expelliarmus and hits snape,when dumbledore tells hermione to go back in time...

i really liked emma thompson as trelawny, she was hilarious Laughing

but i think the knight bus was my fave part, the talking head was exelent

I think my favorite part of this film would have to be all the scenes with Sirius and Harry. For example, when Sirius asks Harry to come and live with him, and Harry is all excited, thinking he might not have to go back to the Dursleys' house for good. Another example is when Sirius is leaving on Buckbeak and he tells Harry some things about his parents. Those scenes were really touching for me, and a good prelude to what was to come in films four and five.
