i am looking around on this website and i see people posting the same thing over and over! and on some of them they are saying bad words that i really do not want to see when i am trying to talk about harry potter!

they are spammers, my forum is full of them and apperntly so is this forum.

well they need to be stopped... dont click on anything they post... they could be viruses

I've just spent a bunch of time deleting these spam posts. There may be some more, but I stopped by here to say that we're handling it. There may or may not be anything we can do to prevent this, since it depends on how automatic the spamming is. I will do everything I can to prevent this or remove what has been posted already.

i know what you can do darmonkey cant you just disable all access to guests because i have found a spam massage last night containing a trojan horse and it was a true virus nobody ever miss with this stuff inless you have anti-virus
what forum areas are these massages mostlly being formed?
okey so there members doing this i dont see how to stop this cause there not spam bots or guests so i have no idea what to do ever forum i have been on had guests doing this but these are members so i dont know what we can do but to clean it up daily

The only area that Guests are allowed to post is in this forum (Help, Questions, & Support). This is necessary in case people are having problems registering. The rest are manual spam posts by real people. There is nothing we can do to prevent them, we can only take action once they exist. We do our best to clean them off once we see them or have them reported to us, but sometimes it takes a little bit of patience. Thanks for your help reporting all of these issues.
