Ok, I've heard several people scream bloody murder over weather they like or absolutely HATE Daniel Radcliff as Harry Potter.

So what do you all think?

I think he does a good job protraying Harry. We can't really compare him to any other actor however, because hes been the only one.

Definitely not. I always rather disliked Radcliffe as an actor, though I do admit he did improve quite a bit in the Third movie. He was pretty dull and emotionless. He seemed to time things wrong, and he put emthasis on the wrong words. I think its probable that the only reason he got the part was because he had connections and a resemblance with the character.

They definately could've done better. But unfortunately Radcliffe's image is gonna stick.

Have you ever seen Elijah Wood in Sin City? He was wearing glasses and he looked like the spawn of satan.... if he were to play Harry he would have to do a whole seperate movie and do an alternative story line where HArry is dark and poweriful and in slytherin... you know like those odd fan fics? He would be perfect though!!!

believe it or not, i prefered him in his first movie. he seemed timid and nice, like Harry in the first book. Even his voice was hesitant. i think it portrayed him well. he's getting worse i think. maybe better at acting, but not as Harry Potter

although he's just like i imagined him and he somewhat mantains it, not like hermione who's getting blonder and her hair is straighter than it should be. and emaa's way of portraying hermione is straying from the books a LOT

ginny is nothing like i expected, nor is ron. but i actually like ron acting. i loved him in the first movie

i think that emma does good and none of the books other than the 1st and 2nd mention that she is ugly. i don't see why she's not allowed to be pretty.

i agree that ron was nothing like what i expected but he does act well.

When it comes to Hermione she is everything I thought she would be but worse... she is a major character over my Ron Ron! That and her hair is not bushy anymore and she is almost a blonde... ;_; should have kept her the way she was not a prissy prissy annoying Emily Watson!! Hermione is BUTCH not a Princess!!! Ok not butch but... you know... not a princess... its her acting I swears...

i did NOT said ugly. she is pretty as implied in GoF. HOWEVER, hermione has BUSHY BROWN hair and that is stressed in every book. i don't like hermione getting BLONDER and with STRAIGHTER hair. it's part of her caracterization and since she was great in he first and second film why change it? it's like the actor who makes ron turning his hair brown or daniel appearing in the films with brown eyes.

emma does good. shes not a butch OR a princess. shes not supossed to be.

She doesn't overshadow ron and ron doesn't overshadow her. I like ron as much as you do, lavander, but she does have a little more role in the movies.

i don't mean to offend you, lol. that's just how it is

the comment above was meant for Vasaver.

I didn't mean to say that you meant that. I get a little defensive with hermione because lots of people bash emma and i think she's a great actor.

yes but what i criticized her caracterization (sp?). hermione has bushy brown hair. emma had that in the first two movies. however she's getting blonder and her hair is getting straighter. i think that is wrong. i'm not saying anything about her actress skills, who are getting better

I will say this, he was good in the first two movies. But then I started to really hate Daniel Radclif in the movies. I think it is mainly because I started to hate HArry in the books. So my anger for Radclif is because of my anger in for Harry in the books... So I guess that means that I think he is the perfect HArry Potter. Hey, if I can take my hate out on Radclif on stuffhe hasnt acted out yet, then damn he is the perfect match.

Yes, but Emma makes Hermione seem more femenin that she really is in the book. Her hair is straighter, lighter, and it looks like she has make up. I have never imagined her to look like this not in a million. She carries out somethings well in the movies, yes, but there are times where she ruins it for me. Also, Emma does have a bigger part than Rupert. She gets a lot of important lines that Ron actually says. These are one of the things that bugs me about her. Its not her fault on that part. But to me Emma Watson makes Hermione Granger more feminin than she is portrayed in the books to me. I imagined her to be in between Butch (tomboy and I was joking about that) and femenin. But she just seems completely girly... prolly because of PoA i feel this way. Like the whole lesson with Hagrid. Pretty dang girly there. There are other scenes like that that just bugs me. Ok maybe I am wrong that it wasnt her acting, maybe it was the directors fault but to me I see her as too damn girly.

i never pictured hermione this way either but when i watch her in the first 2 movies i like how she looks now. i do totally agree that she's become girly. I don't know why, but i hated that scene with her on the stairs in movie 4 after the yule ball. It was a little overdramatic.

Agreed she was the perfect little adorable Hermione puff ball I imagined... but then she grew boobs in the next movie and looked like she was 17 all of a sudden...

Dad had to give me to hit my back hard because I choked on my pop corn from laughter. I thought it turned corney of all the sudden and I could feel the burn and anger from Ron scorching my face into a sunburn from the whole scene... good scene though... just not the stairs... I think it was Rons jelousy that brought me back from normal and stop laughing... -_- ppl dont every go to the movies with me... I dont behave...
