I know this isn't exactly harry potter,but it's kind of connected sense it has to do with Daniel Radcliffe.
how do you feel about the play Equus?
Personaly I think it was a very smart move for Daniel and his career. By doing somethng like Equus it let's people know that he's not limited in doing movies like Harry Potter. It breaks the typcast mindset. I also think it's complete mess that a parent said because of the play he would not let his son see the harry potter movies.  People need to realize that it's acting. Harry potter isn't the only thing that Daniel is going to do. I could elaborate more,but i'm not. I know quite a few people don't feel the same way I do, so please tell me how you feel about it.

Well I'm not going to judge it because I have yet to see it. However, I do think its a good idea Dan branch off to other films...this seemed like it was a big step though.

I think the only reason Dan did this is because he was tired of people always seeing him as Harry Potter. He wanted to be taken more seriously, but I think he made a mistake, this step was too big, and he's only 17. I mean, I do agree with the fact that he needs to do something different, not just Harry Potter all his life but I don't think Equus was the right choice.

in an interview, he said it was one of the reasons why he did it.

Radcliffe was originally a stage actor.. im glad he's persuing his passions

now you see i dont think it would bother me.. because dan radcliffe isnt harry potter... so i dont think it would ruin it for me.. but then again i watch a lot of movies so.. maybe thats why

well the reason for the nudity is because of the timeperiod in which the play was written.... in the 60s nudity was everywhere... there was even a version of Midsummer Night's Dream from the sixties where all of the fairies were naked

really? I think that its excellent.. he's moving onto more adult roles.. that makes him more marketable.. and the producers of HP support him as an upcoming actor... whats wrong with it?

nothing is really wrong with it ... but i think he should have been more cauious i mean nudity and animal cruelty... from innocent Harry Potter... and like i said it wasn't my cup of tea

i was watching an interview with daniel radcliffe on youtube.. it was a talkshow in england..but anyhow.. he said the character was very disturbed..and the play began with him yelling at a theropist..
He did say that the character goes horseback riding naked..and gets off on it.. but if you notice from a lot of the pictures.. they dont use the real horse on stage for that scene..they use a fake..wirely looking one.. but no he doesnt have intercourse with it...just the girl..lol *NOT FOR REAL* just like fake intercourse for the play
