The cover , at least the U.S. version shows Snapes importance in the next book. Ever since the Half Blood Prince came out it has been Snape, Snape, Snape, Snape, Snape, and little about Voldemort. The cover shows nothing to do with Snape, which means there is nothing more to learn about Snape. What we read about Snape in book 6 was exactly that. Harry has a true enemy Voldemort, Snape is simply one other pawn working for Voldemort, nothing more.

Realy?

I don't agree. I think there is still things we are going to learn about Snape in the last book. You can't say we will learn nothing more about Snape just because he is not on the cover. Thats riddiculus.

Yes I agree you cant say we are not going to learn anything about snape just because hes not on the cover cause in say the 2nd book just because we didnt see say dobby on the cover ( just using dobby as an example) it didnt mean we didnt learn stuff about him we learnt a lot about him eg what family he served etc.

there's definitely more to snape than hbp. how will we resolve the cnflict between snape's image as the bad guy in book6, to his redemption in book7 when he helps harry?

I think in Book 7 we will learn more about Snape's past and his childhood. In book 5, when Harry and Snape are practicing Occlumency, Harry sees a vision of what I think is Snape's father.

ya exactly. the cover only shows the final battle, but not the entire book.

haha... i heard someone say, "dont judge a book by its cover... because sometimes the cover is better than the book." that made me laugh.

Snape will definitely have a lot of importance...but so far he's basically just been one big secret..ill venture to say that they'll keep that way til the end
