The book had a whole part on the Dursleys but you rarely/never seen them in the movie.

Hmmm...I hard to say maybe money inhibited some of the scenes to be lengthened or put in the movie all together. But I think the only reason why it wasnt expanded upon was because corp. heads believed that if they filmed a four hour movie people wouldnt want to see it, theyd get antsy, parents would get annoyed, just based it on all past problems with lengthy movies. but if you look at lord of the rings they had to be four hours long for each movie. or close to four...we shall never know but they better start puttin alil more detail into the hp movies!

Well...
* No Dursesys
* No Weaselys getting stuck in the Durslys' chinmy (NOOOOOO!!!)
* Nagini shows up only once and her role to Voldy is not said Mad . It would have been interesting to see Frank's expression. He does not really care who Nagini is when Voldy tells Wormy to milk her, but then he's in utter shock when Voldy says the name of the snake XD !
V: Where is Nagini
W: I think she set out to explore the house
V: You will milk her before we retire
F : *not caring, but wondering who Nagini is*
*later*
N: *parsletounge*
V: Nagini has intesting news
F: Shocked Shocked Shocked *thinks* He wants the snake to be milked?!
Laughing
* Viktor does not say "Her-me-oh-ninny" (again...NOOOOO!!!)
* The other Weaselys are not there. Come on, we gotta have the wedding in the last book!

I was referring to Bill and Charlie Rolling Eyes
* The entire Quittech match is gone Mad
* The entire 3rd task is different
* Buckbeak's name is not changed
* The Mermaid's song is changed. A few of the verses are cut out
* Harry and Mertle are not in the picture
* NO DOBBY AND WINKY *banghead*

Ooh, whoops, nevermind. I'm thinking of the new movie. You're right, the other Weasleys weren't there.

And ..

The Hogwarts students greet the other schools outside of the grounds in the book .. when in the movie, they come barging through the great hall ..

The scene in the movie (probably the best scene in the movie, in my opinion) where the horntail chases Harry around the castle, never happened in the book ..

Neville gives Harry the gillyweed for the second task in the movie .. when in the book, Dobby gives Harry the gillyweed ..

Harry doesn't see Myrtle in the lake for the second task ..

There is no mermaidian village in the movie .. just a statue with Hermione, Ron, Cho, and Gabrielle tied to it ..

And I could keep going and going!

i think it wouldve been better if it was longer.
the other charecters in the triwizard tournement barely had any lines..
and i was a bit upset that the 3 task was cut so short. the maze was my favorite part in the book.

No Dobby

No Winky

No Peeves (he has yet to make an appearance in ANY movie)

No S.P.E.W

The Dark Mark was conjured in the Woods, not on the abandoned campground

Harry didn't pass out in the book, nor was he separated from Ron and Hermione like he was in the movie

Dobby gave Harry the Gillyweed, not Neville. DOBBY!

No nifflers in the movie

Sirius only appears once in the movie, though the cave scene in the book is where Harry finds out all that important info on Barty Crouch Jr. (and Sr.)

HARRY LOOKS TOO OLD TO BE 14!

The movies are a bit of a failure in my humble opinion. The GOF film is basically just the bare bones of the book.

I think the whole court scene with Barty Crouch, Jr. was completely wrong...and that really irks me...because it was important to make people think ill of his father. In the book...BCjr is screaming for his mother and insisting upon his innocence and begging his father to believe him. However, he gets sent to Azkaban anyway.

It was important to think of Barty Crouch, Sr. as a heartless, ruthless, ambitious man who gave his own son to the dementors to further his career...and gain popularity.

I didn't like how the Quidditch World Cup was so early on in the movie. and I disliked Dumbledore the most in this one.
