Well, I couldn't find a thread like this so I thought I'd start one. This is a thread where you can bring words from the Harry Potter universe and ask how to pronounce them.

So, How do you pronounce Auror? :P

haha.... well, I'm from NY, so everything I say sounds weird, according to those on skype, lol...
I pronounce Auror... Au Rur.

There is a big debate on how to pronounce accio.

A few of us thought it was Ah Chee Oh.
In the movie they pronounce it Ah Kee Oh.
On the US audio tape the supposedly pronounce it Ah Chee Oh.

Which is it? YOU BE THE JUDGE!

eh-pisk(as in disk)-ee

dm why on earth do you say hurr and not hor?

and kessy where do you get two roar/rors in auror?

but props both of you for always having hermione right...when I first read it I had no idea at all...ran some options through my head and decided on her-me-own. I don't think the correct way even occurred to me lol.
