Hi Everyone,
I'm sure you are all aware that radical Islamic Fundamentalism is threatening our national security and world peace. After 9/11 President Bush and others, made a great effort to seperate Islam from those that practiced Islamic Fundamentalism. In response, Salam Rushdie wrote and article, "Yes, this is about Islam," he wrote, "terrorism is a part of Islam" and "Islam is not a religion of peace." After doing an extensive internet search, I must say, I agree with him. The world is spending Billions to Trillions of dollars fighting terrorism with firepower and intelligence, but we most also educate others to the true idealogy of this "religion". My objective is not to slur, but to educate. When the Koran (Quran) is put through the normal objective rules of research and logic, it doesn't stand up. When one looks at Mohammed, who is supposed to be a "prophet", his behavior doesn't even come close to someone we would consider a person of good moral character. But, donn't take my word for it. Please, when you have time in your busy hectic schedules, take the time to peruse some of the following websites:
www.tellthechildrenthetruth.com -Did you know that Jews, Christians, and Muslims co-exhisted for hundreds of years, but it wasn't until Amin Al Husseini organized the radical muslims after WWI, that we had Jihad against the Jews and other non-muslims This site shows the Nazi roots of today's Jihad. (Ya, I didn't beleive it either) It shows how Husseini, Yasser Arafat, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin laden, and the Hamas are all inter-related. VERY INTERESTING
I learned a lot from these sites, did you
If you are a Muslim reading this post. My compassion for you compels me to ask that you take a long objective look at your religion. About 80% of Muslims are extremely nice people _________________ You're just jealous cause the voices only talk to me!
Imagine if you will, how horrible it would be to find that everything you beleived in was wrong. Would you accept it or fight it? What if you came to accept that everything about your religion was wrong, but to renounce your religion would mean imprisionment or death? This is what Muslims face in Islamic countries.
I was raised Catholic, went to a Catholic school and everything. But, by the time I was 13 years old, I questioned the existance of a God. By the time I was 18 years old, I was introduced to Buddhism. It wasn't until 4 years later that I actually accepted Buddhism as my religion. My life was hell, and I asked for help. I asked is it Buddhism or Christianity which one is right. I suddenly felt calm and the answer Buddhism. Since then, I knew Buddhism was the right path for me to take. So, yes I do know what it is like to change my whole philosophy, but it took many years, and I didn't have to worry about being imprisioned or killed.
If you want to learn more about the type of Buddhism I practice see
