Prologue
The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well.
Or was it?

Chapter One
One Year Later

Silence rang through the mists of a bog in the middle of the country not far from Little Hangleton. Cradled in the hills it was protected from wind and public view. Not many knew about the cemetary in the hills in Little Hangleton, those who did just thought it had been there forever.

But it they had taken a closer look they would have seen a newly built black mausoleum surrounded by gravemarkers. Some names that could be seen there were Lestrange, Pettigrew, Dolohov, Yaxley, and some that can't be read anymore. The only odd thing was the black mausoleum. The cemetary itself was twenty years old, but the mausoleum looks as if it were built just the other day.

On a warm July night, all was the same as it had ever been for twenty years. At 11:57 pm a loud pop struck from the hills. At 11:58 pm some inhabitants of Little Hangleton who happened to be up at the time swore to have seen two sequential green flashes of light with less than a second between. At 12:00 am a last green flash was seen and later on another pop.

If one were to have seen the events going on in the cemetary, they would have seen a dark man appear suddenly with a crack next to the gate where two figures stood on either side. They would have seen that the dark man had a stick in his hand and the other two were attempting to pull their sticks out. Before they could the dark man pointed to each of the men in turn and a green flash of light hit both of them in less than a second. The dark man pushed open the gate and walked up to the black mausoleum. With the stick still in his hand he pointed it to the door of the mausoleum and was hurled in the air back ten feet. The dark man stumbled back up and pointed his wand at the door again and next a green flash of light hit it. The door slowly opened.

The dark man walked into the mausoleum and came back with what appeared to be an urn and before you know it, with another crack he was gone. Many miles away in the neighborhood of Godric's Hollow a 12-year-old boy in his bed opened his green eyes with a start with a pain in his forehead.
