The only one who fits Obi-Wan properly is DD. Lupin or Moody would fit Yoda best, in my opinion.

Oh, I don't know, maybe it's because the force is the governing, er, force of everything in existence. So, one who has better control over it is a more powerful person. Also, Mace Windu was only a shade better swordfighter than Yoda, if at all. It is pretty safe to say the most powerful figure in SW movie canon was between Darth Vader and Yoda.

Mace not only mastered the 6 styles of lightsaber comabt, but invented a new 7th style and was the only one to master it. I personally think he came much closer to killing Sidius with lightsaber combat than Yoda ever did with anything. Plus, you make it sound like Mace has poor Force mastery. His overall importance is considered second only to Yoda, and Mace is something like 40 or 50 years old. Yoda being over 800? He has tons of experience. Yoda probably is a better Force wielder.. I just have a problem with the fact that you said Yoda was a better overall fighter because he was better at Force Control. That's not really right, is what I'm basically trying to say. Ignoring this, Yoda or whoever else is probably NOT the best fighter in the SW Universe. _________________

Actually, Bellatrix could be Dooku just so Snape could be Vader. They both like their black, and they both have a change of heart (albeit, Vader's comes a bit late). _________________

I was implying that since Yoda was more accomplished in the force, whatever advantage Windu has in terms of swordmanship, yoda would cover it with his superior force abilities. Also, Yoda is quite an accomplished swordsman, and can probably fight on equal terms with Windu in that regard.

Well he wouldn't be if you were that specific. But in general terms he works out nicely. Not to mention that Vader killed Sidius and Snape was working against Voldemort throughout the books (ignoring pre-birth Harry) _________________
