Hey, you know, maybe Mrs. Figg bought him the glasses.

Wasn't she secretly watching out for him all of those years?

She probably noticed that he was staggering around and bumping into a lot of things.

I agree with ravvy...I can't believe I just said that....

The Dursleys probably had to get him glasses or get in trouble with child services.

It's not like they helped to maintain them, though.

haha . . . ditto . . . If a child can't see in school and his guardians don't get his eyes checked, then there will be a big red flag put up. They would be chancing a lot by not getting him galsses.

my question is why can mdme pomfrey regrow a human skeleton but cannot cure astigmatism?

I guess this is another one of magic's limitations.... You can change/regrow something that already exists... but you can't fix something that doesn't work on the human body.

i dunno i just have pretty glasses. i was actually considering contacts but im losing my insurance soon so ima stay with glasses.

i would like to have pretty blue eyes like harry.
