I can honestly say that it hasn't.

The initial print run is for 12 million copies. That's a massive print run by anyone's standards!

The only people to get the book earlier are the Aussies (they're ahead in the time zone).

So we'll all have to visit Australia to get a head start! Very Happy

Not true, I live in Auz and my bookstore Angus And Roberston has the realease date of 21st of July and theres no point flying here.

right time zone i knew that

Is it 12 million for the US or all of us?

12 million won't last demand in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Depends.

I'd imagine countries like Germany, France, Italy and Spain will get them in the first week, or people will try and buy them from us here in Ireland and the folks over in the UK.

The French version is out on the 26th of October, I've already pre-ordered it (I love the foreign language versions).

I don't get why everyone pre orders book. You have to wait so freaking long. Just go to Wal-Mart where it is like 15 dollars, when the original price is 35 dollars. If u go at midnight u will prob get a copy. I was like the 20th person to get it last year and I got there right at midnight. Seriously, I would never order a book online that I want the day it comes out. I recommend canceling all your orders and just going and getting it somewhere else.

Why not buy Canadian?

They have the same covers.

All the English-speaking world except the US have the same covers....adult and kids versions.

So it's not really the "UK" cover, it's the "English-speaking world" cover

Australians didn't get the book earlier than anyone else! It's released at the exact same time all around the world. Given our time zone, that was 9.01 am in Australia.
