I couldn't select my birthday, there was no way to scroll down. Then When I picked is said the content could not be viewed.

Clear your cache, cookies, etc... then try again. Just make sure you put your birthday so you're over 18 because the game isn't rated yet.

My first blizzard game was starcraft broodwar, then I played one of the original warcraft games before it was an rpg. Then after I started playing D2 LOD, I didn't have a life hahaha.

I agree that it looks like they're taking things from Warcraft and putting them in D3, and I agree they shouldn't be because they are two totally different games but I don't like how all these diehard fans are flaming all the forums because of it.
They say it's diablo not warcraft, but I could say the same thing right back... This is Diablo 3 not Diablo 2. Things are going to change, if you want things to stay the same go instal D2 and start playing.

That's why everyone is complaining.
Diablo is an online game where you could pick from seven classes: amazon, sorceress, barbarian, paladin, necromancer, assassin, and a druid. You do quest's and level up your character while trying to get gear, once you are high enough you can do pvp, or if you like pvm you can do that. While doing the quest's there are five different acts, after each act you fight a boss: first Andariel, second Duriel, third Mephisto, fourth Diablo, and finally Baal. After you beat the five acts you do it again three times, beating the game on all three difficulties: Normal, Nightmare, and Hell.
That sums up the basic's of the game, in my opinion it is the best game bizzard has ever created totally blowing WoW out of the water.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be free, but they haven't annouced that yet. But all the other Diablo games were free.

I see. Every time to start the 5 acts over on a higher diffitculty, is all your stats/items/abilities/etc. saved? Or does one start over? thanks for the explanation though

Yes, once you move onto the next difficulty eveything carries over. Diablo II was a very fun game.
