I just liked how it was all foreshadowed. Like when Hermione was so upset when Ron and Harry hit Whompy in CoS. And her reaction when she sees Lockhart and Sprout coming back from banadaging him up was so cute when I reread that part. I can't believe I didn't see it when I first read the series! And now it makes me angry that it's just another thing those stupid film makers left out of the movies.

you're confusing the movies with the books. didn't she get bruises and scratches and wasn't swung around at all!

I don't remember if they got hit at all in the book. But I do know that they didn't have to work their way past the willow, Crookshanks crept through and pushed the knot that stops the willow from whomping.

I didn't really get this video, I understand by what's been said here that it's supposed to be about Hermoine and the Whomping Willow, but I didn't really get that from the video.

I'm pretty sure they kept getting punched before crookshanks stilled it for them.
