A world record for what?

The biggest number of downloads in one day!
www.spreadfirefox.com

right now: Total Downloads Region Downloads
8,575,613

It has already surpassed the record.

Arabella - When you "Pledge" for the Firefox download day it means you say yes to downloading the day it is released.
You get an email 2 days before the release to remind you, then one on the day of release, when you pledge you are recorded in the data for the record, so basically it means you helped make a world record for the most downloads in one day for a piece of software.

I've downloaded and installed it, but haven't gotten to use it much, yet. I just did enough to verify that my work (employer) website didn't break in FF3. I use IE most of the time, but use the other browsers Firefox, Opera, Safari to test website cross-browser compatability (make sure it looks/works similarly in different browsers). I primarily use IE, not because I necessarily like it more, but because I want to see the web the way that the majority of other people do so that I can notice any flaws on the sites I work on.

The only problem I've had with the new version of Firefox is that it sometimes makes the webpages load strangely... and if I try to scroll, the page itself overlaps and it's pretty much the same thing over and over again. Every time it happens I have to restart Firefox and completely lose my session.

I'm also mad that they removed the warning for closing tabs... that was always how I'd close Firefox before when I wanted to keep my session. Ctrl+alt+delete, end task, wait for the pop-up to come up saying end task, end it, and then when I brought it back up my session would be restorable.

ROFL!!!
I did the same thing because I always have a ton of tabs open. I'm always working on something and when I want to save it for later I just close Firefox down and save it for later.

Yeah!! But it doesn't work anymore. Crying It saddens me greatly, especially because Firefox now craps out on me at least a few times a day. And I never am able to get my session back. Sad

I'm gonna do the same thing very soon, I think, lol. Firefox 3 is making me more and more depressed every day, especially because half the time when I have to close a session I forget where I found one of the links I was on... and just because I have to open everything back up in a certain way, so it bugs me. I'm pretty OCD about the tabs. Lol. Gotta be Twilight forums, then PF, myspace, facebook, AIM mail, and yahoo mail. Anything extra I decide to open goes after that. :]

Say it has too many glitches. That's my only problem with it at the moment.
