Deathly Hallows paperback edition will be available in the UK on July 5th, 2008.

You can pre-order a copy at Amazon UK.

The US paperback version should be released shortly after that. I'll edit this post when I know the actual date.

EDIT:
The paperback of Deathly Hallows is due to be released July 2008.

It's July now... where is this book? Sad

the idea of any HP book beyond POA in paperback scares me. how doesn't the spine fall apart? they're so huge!

I have them all in paperback, except for DH, of course. And so far my GoF and OotP are starting to look a little weathered at the spine.

The paperbacks are good for people who can't necessarily afford the hardcover. They are also good to take with you on the go since they aren't as heavy.

I think I'm scared cuz my paperback POA is in such bad shape. but now I have them all in hard cover...boxed set...tis very heavy. but I tend to like hard covers better cuz paperbacks and me don't get along so well Sad

awww, they fall apart on you, don't they. I like them because they're light weight so I can travel with them. But yeah, they don't stay in as good of shape as the hardcovers.

I may not live in the US. But all my books are paperback, and the DH paper back was out last year in Australia. But guessing it's the american paperback edition. The US editions of Harry Potter are always out later in paperback.

If you had actually read what I'd posted you'd see it was the UK version that was being released. The UK version is the same version as the Aus version.

I know, there the same covers and picture-fronts. But, why don't they just keep the American edition like UK and Australia's?
