well the book cover shows (UK edition)... it was a full moon night...yo know the night the final battle takes place...

if im not mistaken.. some whre during the war... we see fenrir refered as a four legged animal... that surely means he was trans formed... but i cant recall anywhere if lupin had transformed that night...

i mean... he was there in room of req as a human... then when he died i belive was "himself"

or i missed it..or what...
