Anyone who is angry that gay marriages are legal should go disembowel themselves.

Why would it matter ? It doesn't effect them in anyway. It's like, Do they have nothing better in life then to ruin others?

I heard about that today... well, Actually I heard about Ellen Degeneres getting married. And i was like, uh, how? And THEN they said how California legalized marriage.. or, well, turned over a law that banned it or something... eitehr way... I love how they FIRST told us about Ellen, THEN threw in the stuff about California. It really goes to show how crazy the media is.

I saw some guy with a sticker the other day that said marriage = man + woman. It made me very mad but I live in California so it was kind of ironic I saw that and then the next day it was legalized.

It's not really legal, just not illegal. It's not really fully legalized. But no local governments can ban it now, which means if local governments want to make it legal, they can. There's still a proposed amendment that would make gay marriage illegal in CA if voters approve it in November I think. I doubt it would pass though.

And the case that SF won will be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.. so they'll either hear it or upheld the ruling. I imagine they will uphold it.

My say in all of this is basically, let them do what they want. It's probably not right, but if it doesn't involve us, let them do it.

angry people? why? if they don't want to marry people of the same sex then they should just bugger off and not. why ruin for all the people who want to? it's not like their hurting anyone by doing it.

but good for california!

The Earth in most places is apprehensive of same-sex unions. Gays are potrayed as creepy, middle aged men who where tutus or biker leather and parade down a city main street.

I'm neutral in the matter. Just let them do what they want.

There is no possible way for anyone to argue against the legalization of gay marriage rationally. This is exactly the kind of bigotry that we had to over-run 50 years ago with inter-racial marriage, and if the supreme court doesn't uphold the seperation of church and state, or the sanctity of human rights, then I am going to be pissed.

yes. legalizing gay marriage is not gonna hamper anyone's rights (unlike, say, abortion) and is even gonna grant rights to another group.

Yeah, even as pro-choice as I am, I can admit that intelligent people can debate about whether or not abortion should be legal. The same cannot be said for gay marriage.

Who's to say if it's right or not. No one, if they love each other let them get married, they will probably help the divorce rate go down.

mmmhmmm... i dont even think God himself would disapprove. he never said he didnt create steve.... the church leaders are just simply homophobic.

of course its neither right or wrong. like marriage between heterosexuals is neither right nor wrong (assuming of course your reasons are right). however, i doubt the divorce rate will go down.

I think it might, since gay marriage is just becoming legal it will not be abused like it is in straight marriage'snow.

you know what, i think gay peeps are crazy. why would they WANT to get married? so they can have a taste of what straight married peeps get. you know divorce and then one spouse takes everything. Sad bad move on their part i swear!

okay sorry that was awful of me.

even though im a rep. i think gay peeps should be able to get married. i think they should get the same rights as us. thinking that they dont is very medieval. so good for california and hope it migrates up one more state into oregon. even though my mother will be shrieking bloody murder about it for a long time... ooo maybe i should reconsider my thoughts a bit..... do i want a shrieking mother :'( no one wants that right?!!!

okay i need to be serious again.. yay for the gays in cali!

hopefully our divorce rate will go down...

actually marriage would be very beneficial to them. to make sure one just doens't take everything and to make it easier if one of them dies. there is a reason marriage is packaged up with hundreds of extra benefits, and there's no reason two gay people in love shouldn't be able to take advantage of them the same as straight people.
