I believe in so much Obama believes in, or I thought I did until recently... I was giving out the Obama stickers, and I had the signs and was really spreading the word.. And now, it's like I don't even know the person I've been supporting... The things he has been saying; I.E His views on opening reserves in the country, and talking about passing this new environmental bill that will bring gas to over $8 a gallon.... That effects me as a person. I would really love to have our world a better place, but the only ones who can actually put forth the needed action in buying Hybrids and everything else needed,a re the ones who can afforded.
Which isn't me, I do not have alot of money... So this new view of his really does bother me. I want the troops home as much as the next guy, but this isn't acceptable.
I am also against his idea of our "free health care" situation... From what he explained months ago in his debates with Hillary, you do not have a choice whether or not you can buy into it or not.. If you cannot afford it, it's just too bad... you HAVE to or face a penalty.

What's better, $5.50 a gallon, and you have a car that averages about 25 mi/gallon, or $8.00 a gallon, and you have a car that doesn't use gas?
Everybody (rich, poor, black or white) should prefer the latter. It's not unattainable either; the technology is out there. The only thing standing between you and a hydro-powered car right now is Dick Cheyney.

No, that was Hillary's plan. His plan will drastically reduce the cost of healthcare, but doesn't force people to buy it.

I've kept track of this race for the past year and a half, but I'll look it up just to humor you.
Hillary Clinton attacked Obama because Obama's plan DOESN'T force people to buy Healthcare. She claimed that this left '15 million people out of healthcare,' when really his plan covered those people with subsidies.
