Quote:
Over the weekend, Collectormania was held in Milton keyes in England, where actress Natalia Tena took part in an autograph session with fans. Emma, from the Snitchseeker, was able to speak to the actress about her role in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. According to the report, Natalia Tena says her character Tonks “was only on set for the part where Death Eaters attack the Burrow at Christmas (where Harry & Weasleys are present). She said that none of the angst of her character is there – indeed, she and Lupin are just suddenly a couple when they meet there.”

The actress goes on to give a few thoughts as well about “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” and what happens to Tonks during the book, with Tena noting in the film version, she ” would love to have to ride a broom with a pregnant belly.”

Seriously! I can already see utter disappointment coming on November 27.

Wait.... the DE's are going to attack the Burrow on Christmas... and by then Lupin and Tonks will already be dating... wtf?

That does it.

I am a little pissed off that her character is hardly in it at all, and i did want to see her proper storyline with Lupin.

I do have to say though that if you think about it Tonks is not really an important character at all and it's about Harry, Hogwarts, Voldemort, etc, so i'm not going to hold this against the film when it finally comes to cinemas.

I agree... but it doesn't make me any less disappointed that the Burrow gets attacked on Christmas in HBP.... which negates the fact that the Burrow is basically a safe place (well, safer than most) for Harry to be until Scrimgeour is killed in DH.

In the book she appears quite a bit, actually. She was at the burrow when Harry first arrived there. Then she was stationed at Hogsmeade as a lookout, and she was the one who saved Harry from his unfortunate position on the train. She is sad and dreary throughout the novel. That big surprise at the end is a big deal for me. I was excited about watching the character of Tonks progress.

I don't know why, but for some reason I feel obligated to watch them whenever they come out. It's the propaganda that is ingrained in my head. Evil or Very Mad

I know it's like they send subliminal messages or something.

This makes me mad. I hope someone remakes them in a few years so that it follows the book better.

Maybe if it was far down the road.

I would be weird to see different actors. Maybe like 5 or more years after DH comes out. I don't think it would be as weird to see different actors that far later. I do think the actors they have fit the characters great.
