| I think that Fawkes could have a part to play in the next book. I think that when Harry and Voldemort are fighting Voldemort will try and use the Avada Kedavra but Fawkes will swoop in and swallow it like he did in book 5 for Dumbledore. This may give Harry a chance to finish Voldemort off while he is wondering where Fawkes came from. However, i don't think that Fawkes will be reborn this time i think once he has helped save Harry he will die for good. (I may be wrong about him dying for good i don't know if they do die). |

Fawkes is basically the mascot for the Order, so I'm sure he'll be in Book 7 with his healing powers put to good use.

That would make Dumbledore a murderer, and a wizard of very dark magic. Are you sure that's what you meant?

ummm thats what he ment not me. i believed that they shared there life togeather has one. only reason i thought this was because fawks wwould always die and become re-born through its ashes so i figured nothing lasts forever (i thought this before dumbledores death) so when dumbeldore went fawks went.

It's curious that it's called the Order of the Phoenix ?
I wonder how come?
I'm sure other creatures have healing qualities, so why choose the Phoenix? There's probably more to Fawkes than we've realised so far...
