Emma Watson has been given £10.5 million for her birthday.
Watson, who plays Harry Potter's sidekick Hermione Granger in the wizard film series, was handed the fortune upon turning 18 yesterday (15.04.0.
The actress has promised to attend 'millionaire school' in order to learn how to responsibly handle her accounts, which will be managed by the English bank Coutts, who look after Queen Elizabeth's account.
A source said: "It was Emma parents Chris and Jacqueline who opened her Coutts account. The idea is for the money to grow and safeguard her future - not be blown in a couple of years.
Emma is now surrounded by several trusted private bankers who will advise her on her spending."
Watson is rumoured to be earning £2.5 million for her role in the sixth film 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', upped by studio bosses after she threatened to pull out of the lucrative franchise to attend university.
Watson's coming of age also presents a worry for Harry Potter producers who are keen to keep the main stars out the limelight.
She recently sparked concern after being seen at several parties in London and striking up an unlikely friendship with Razorlight rocker Johnny Borrell.
Watson has been signed to model agency Storm, who previously discovered Kate Moss.
And I thought holding out for Equus ticket was a bit much!
One less New York clown on the streets...
Spoiler:
Westbury clown accused of having kiddie porn BY JOHN VALENTI | john.valenti@newsday.com

Alexander Zacarias often worked as a clown at children's birthday parties, police said.
Which is alarming, police said, since they arrested the Westbury man Tuesday evening on charges of promoting sexual performance of a child -- police saying Zacarias used home computers to "receive and distribute hundreds of images" of child pornography and child erotica.
Zacarias, 40, of Sherman Street, Westbury, was arrested Tuesday by detectives from the special Internet Child Exploitation Section of the Nassau County Police Department's Crimes Against Property Squad for promoting the sexual performance of a child and the possession of sexual performance of a child that police said occurred in Westbury on Dec. 3. Police said they could provide no additional details on the initial incident -- or the extent of Zacarias' involvement in it -- on Wednesday.
But police confirmed the arrest of Zacarias was the result of an executed search warrant at his home, where they said they seized "numerous desktop and notebook computers."
It was unclear, however, whether police knew before the arrest that Zacarias worked as a part-time clown of children's birthday parties -- or whether they learned of that after he was arrested.
Zacarias was charged with nine felony counts of promoting sexual performance of a child and nine felony counts of possession of sexual performance of a child.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
One more clown off the streets for Emily!
Dad falls to death from Shea Stadium escalator
Spoiler:
BY JOHN VALENTI | john.valenti@newsday.com

A night at the ballpark turned tragic when a Brooklyn man died after a 4-story fall from an escalator at Shea Stadium in Flushing on Tuesday.
Police sources said Wednesday that the man may have been "surfing" or "sliding" on the railing of the escalator when he fell. But a New York City Police Department spokesman said Wednesday he could not confirm that -- but said it was one of the angles detectives would be investigating.
The tragic accident happened at about 10 p.m. Tuesday, not long after the Mets had beaten the Washington Nationals, 6-0, in a game on "Jackie Robinson Day" -- a celebration of the day Robinson broke the color barrier in baseball, making his Major League debut with the old Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947.
Killed in the fall was Antonio Nararainsami, 36, of a Guyanese immigrant from Crescent Street, Brooklyn, police said. There were reports that the fall occurred in front of the man's two young daughters, though police said they could not confirm that Wednesday.
A police spokesman said Nararainsami and his wife were expecting a third child.
A police spokesman also said some reports were that the escalators at Shea were turned off at the time of the accident. That spokesman said family members told police the escalator then "suddenly jerked" -- throwing Nararainsami over the railing to his death, four flights below. Nararainsami was taken to New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, where he was pronounced dead at 10:25 p.m.
But a police source told Newsday "there were some reports he was surfing down the railing . . . Witnesses said he had jumped on the rubber railing . . . and he was sliding down when he lost his balance."
In a statement released late Tuesday, the Mets said they had learned of "a tragic accident that resulted in the death of a fan." They said team officials and police were investigating. "Our deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to the fan's family," the statement said.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
Another reason to be a Yankee fan, instead.
A Toddler was forced to smoke pot

NEWARK, Ohio - A central Ohio teenager has been charged with giving a toddler marijuana.
Sixteen-year-old Angel Dailey was arrested and has pleaded not guilty to charges of corrupting and endangering the child, according to police.
Prosecutors said they were tipped after a videotape was found in recorder traded in at a Columbus pawn shop. A juvenile complaint said Dailey "participated in the administration and holding the child while causing her to ingest marijuana and/or illegal drugs."
I tried my best. I hope Emily likes the article I put in for her. I think it'll make her happy.
And on a side note, I left out the Pope stuff because I'm all kinds of shakey on details. _________________ Breathing is optional. Look, Bella, look.

I would guess, depending on the person, that it wouldn't matter what it cost, as long as it came from the heart. You know what birthday present comes from the heart? Tickets to see Equus on Broadway. _________________ Breathing is optional. Look, Bella, look.
