Kevin had just moved to BS the week before and made his first step on to the BS High School campus. He sighed. He moved all the way from California and didnt know anyone in the whole school, let alone the state. He looked down at his map and his school schedule. His first class was Algebra. Algebra was his worst subject and sighed and walked to the classroom. "Room 12.." He opened the door and stepped in. The teacher greeted him with a smile. "Students..this is a new student at the school, Kevin Bostic.." Kevin smiled and looked at the class trying to make a good impression. They just yawned and seemed uninterested. The teachers smile faded and he pointed to a desk in the back of the classroom by the window. He walked to the desk and set his backpack down and looked out onto the gloomy sky and thought This is going to be a loong day

Kevin just nodded and saw a kid wearing a football jersey. He smiled and thought At least i can make friends on the football team.. He looked at Kayla wanting to ask her if there were tryouts for the football team but the teacher was staring at him.

The teacher started talking at the front of the room.
Kayla looked over Kevin's schedule and wrote something on it.
It said: We have all classes together, except gym. But it's the same hour ! 
She passed it back to him and got out her notebook.

Kevin took the scheadule back and unfolded it. He read the mesage and smiled and tucked it into his pocket and continued to day dream about California. Before he knew it the bell rang and people began to pack up and head out the door. Kevin stood and quickly packed up and made his way out the door.

He shrugged and adujsted his backpack. "Its okay i guess...everyone seems so gloomy..in California everyone was happy and the sun was shining.." He sighed and walked into the next class and took a seat in the back.

Kayla sat her stuff down in the seat in front of him.
"Yeah, people tend to be like this on Monday's.. They can get really crazy during lunch, too. So I'm warnin' ya."
She laughed and sat down.

The bell rang and class began.
Kayla looked back at Kevin and smiled,
"You'll like this teacher.. She let's us do anything."
Kayla then waited for the teacher to tell them what they were doing for the day.
And then she got out her cell phone.
"Do you have a cell phone, Kevin?"
