I would like to know your opinions about the policies of the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez. I'm an inhabitant of LatinAmerica, and here people is very enthusiastic regarding social changes.
How do you see wath's hapenning here?

dude venezuela is such a piece of poo country that we dont need a poweriful force like our mililtary to wipe em out. we'll just send a few specialty soldiers and assassinate a few peeps. prob solved.

plus, if the dumb ass actually got the balls to end his life by trying to invade or start a war with us... he'd be dead and venezuela militia would be a smoking crater. i think this guy is all bark and no bite. i dont think he really wants to die yet.

Don't poor people deserve a good life? Venezuela is a rich country, with oil, iron, forests and lands. Until Chávez, all of this was owned by foreign companies, that make incredible profits while people were suffering famine, and didn't have medical care. In Venezuela people decide as regards to government business, Chávez has won ten elections in ten years. Now oil, iron, lands, phones, TV, belong to the State. There are more schools and hospitals, poor people is able to attend to Universitiy (without costs, very different from the USA).
But USA government and companies attack Chávez and other democratic leaders, as Correa and Morales, in Ecuador and Bolivia. Probably the terrorist forces of colombian army will stir up the border situation, while peasants are murdered in Colombia. Have you ever heard of the FARC? In Colombia peasants love them.
I don't think Franklin's quote is appropriate, since he was a land owner who used slaves.
I wait for your answers. Do USA government has a reason to attack Venezuela or not?

We dont need a reason. We are the most powerfull country in the world. We do what we want and make up our own rules.

great wizard, about my quote your an idiot. i guess its okay that every dick and harry including george washington, adams, jefferson, madison etc. had slaves, but oh no, not okay for franklin. the quote means dont baby the poor, if you do they will never get out of poverty.

and as for venezuela, if they oppose a threat to the united states, which they dont because they are just a third world country, but hey if they want to attack us fine, but if they did. they deserve to die. i think that americans deserve to live and be protected by its government. also, i wouldnt want to live in venezuela under chavez, he's a tyrant, i wouldnt want to live in fear. their country also aint that rich, so there is still a lot of poor people, wait actually everyone is poor, i should say there is a lot of, homeless poor or really extremely poor people who are still starving.

if your american and you are sitting there supporting what chavez is saying and wanting to do to this country, then please by all means, leave this country and go there. id say youd be alive for a few hours. and if we let this person have his way we would have a lot of dead people on our hands, our own people. but i guess thats okay with democrats. i mean they support this guy and will say poor venezuela, until they actually attack us and we loose americans, then they turn a new leaf, down with venezuela time. then we attack, then they go back to poor venezuela!

i think its time for peeps to get their priorities straight, americans come first in america. we have a right to defend ourselves. says in the declaration of independence, but oh wait that was written by a guy who was a land owner who used slaves. guess its not valid now.

Vasaver, maybe I'm an idiot because I don't understand you. You are in the side of "don't baby the poor", so this means "let's baby the rich". Because in your country, your fathers, who I guess at least work, are forced to pay high taxes. What for? In USA 30 million people are dying of famine. Colored peole, latins, indians, who are not part of "our country". All the money of the taxes has a function: increase the profits of enormous companies. This is your loved country? Where Clinton, Bush or Obama are similar? It's frustrating. But you agree, you are cheerful!
Do you know the reason of the hate to Cháve, Castro and Guevara? Is that they demontrated another world is possible. Mahtma Ghandi said (before English murdered him, of course), that our planet has enough resources to satisfy human needs, of all world population. Thi is true. But there are not enough resources for greedy and wicked companies. I hope you understand me.
And you, blond, white, european people, were not the first to arrive here. Fascinating civilizations and pacific peoples lived before your arrival. You stole their land and their food.

I really wouldn't care if the Simpsons were forbidden. They are critical of society, but fans don't understand them.
We didn't have enough with Cuba. Cuba is the only country were all children attend to school. One of four adults has an university degree, and the whole population have total medical care. Not even USA or Europe have this status. We need more Cubas and Venezuelas, to stop imperialism and stir up socialist feelings.
bery: is easy to us to complain about Chávez. But if you were a colombian peasant or an unemployed venezuelan inhabitant? You would stick up for Chávez.

si, lo lei, iLoveEmma es medio asi pero solo esta jodiendo seguro, es el tipico adolecente cancherito, y vasaver es medio hueca asi que no les des mucha bola, tienen poca y nada de idea del tema

and about the simpsons, i know its not exactly a good example to society but you are actually going to support banning?

and also im positive most of the poblation in venezuela is against chavez's methods, i cant blame them, they are very aggresive and close minded

lo que pasa es que todo yanqui (excepto por los que se crían en el Harlem) son así de cancheritos. Y lo que dicen es verdad, pueden matar a quien quieran, tienen la fuerza, pero no el derecho. Lo que pasa es que a veces se justifican y a veces no, eso no les importa.

But banning is applied by all governments. Chávez is struggling against several enemies, and you've notice nobody cares about people's rights. However I consider more important first human needs than a TV program, and USA is far a country which displays scorn for Human Rights.
I'm not sure people is against Chávez methods. The students you mentioned are the rich ones, who go in dread of share a classroom with peasants. And media is always changing events according to a few and inadvisable ideas.
Everybody are close-minded. Americans are too passionate for silly things as their Constitution. But you can't compare a regrettable average american with a poor peasant, their conditions and lives are deeply diferent. And I prefer to stand by peasants' complaints than wealthy people weeping.

Oh, great iloveemma! So you understand (I guess so, unless you pick up a dictionary from a library and wrote a few words) my conversations both tongues, Spanish and English!
You maybe know the disagreements always arise in politics arguments. When I read your comment about the "right" of USA of invade countries according to their wishes, I honestly felt puzzled. You're threatening human beings for disobeying unacceptable commands.
That self-centered personality is sickening, so you may guess the idea of everybody here as regards to "vivan los Estados Unidos".

If Bush had more time in office, we'd be invading Venezuela (in order to find all the weapons of mass destruction that Chavez is holding). Fortunately, no amount of voter fraud will keep him in office 280 days from now.

Third world people is pacific, while you, americans (i mean american government, companies, and stupid people who think as them), British, are killers.
You begin wars in order to buy weapons to your companies ($500.000 million dollars in weapons bought by US State only in 2007!), and kill workers who want to be free. You did it in México in 1848, after you've stolen more than a half of mexicans' territory, in the "Wild West", overexploitating chinese, afroamericans, and killing "indians", real owners of the land. In Cuba and Filipinas in 1898. In all LatinAmerica: Nicaragua, Guatemala, Colombia, Panamá. Your excuse was comunism, but once the USSR dissapeared you set up the excuse of drugs. And now in your prisions, afroamericans, who are only 11% of USA population, mean the 88% of prision population, followed by latins. You suck. You invent excuses, false reasons.
And rich don't give jobs, they steal resources of a country and then, as charity, give a few jobs. Go and lick you know what to the rich, that revenge of Vietnam, Irak, everytime you invade a country and stole people's resocurces, you'll have to pay.
And please, if your loved Bush or Clinton heard you, we'd ve veey happy. Go away yo your country, we don't want your army, neither your companies, nor your Condolezza. But that, unfortunately, is not possible.

and yes walmart is its own country, its richer than argentina and venezuela combined... actually... its prolly richer than the US.

as for not wanting our business... maybe you should try to get a democracy so you can vote having walmart in your local town. dont blaim us, blame your country for accepting our business.

as for rich dont make the jobs. your from argentina and do not know how our sytem works obviously. but let me give you a lesson. when employed to a poor person, they cannot pay you bc they dont have the money. if you are employed by the rich they have the money to pay for its workers. its plain and simple. we steal resources? sure we have free trade with the americas but we dont steal. we gotta pay for it. fair and square honey.
