I agree with the shaving haters - I always cut myself. I tried waxing my legs once and ripped skin off, so I gave up on that idea.
I kind of like putting makeup on. I have to pay attention to what I'm doing, so it's sort of a brain calisthenic to start off my morning And I like brushing my hair. I don't necessarily like my hair (it's kind of thin and boring), but I like how it shines when I comb it.
Completely off topic, but your avatar is quite possibly the best thing to ever exist. I seriously laughed. A lot. And wanted to steal it, but stealing is not what I'm about.
I don't mind waxing. I've never tried to wax my own eyebrows...I won't even dare attempt it. I just go get it done. It's worth the couple of dollars every month.
I hate having to shave your legs just days after you already did. If I shave them too continuously, it hurrrrrts. Living in Florida, it sucks.
