Can anyone answer this by using google please?
In 1900 Games, the Belgian Van Langendonck won a Gold medal for a variety of long-jump. What was unusual about this event?
Thank you!! _________________

You copied+pasted that question from this website.

The answer is directly below it. If you found the question, I find it hard to believe you were unable to see the answer.
The answer, copied+pasted from the website, is this...
Spoiler:
Competitors jumped on horseback. The Equestrian long-jump only appeared in the 1900 Olympic Games. For comparison, in the same year, the human-only long jump winner, Meyer Prinstein of the USA, jumped 7.175 metres.

Well, yeah. I don't think horse long jumps belonged in the Olympics, which is a test of human athletic ability, not the horsey's. _________________
