I just noticed today that in the movie poster with the main teenagers that only three people are holding there wands, and its harry and his two love interests ginny and cho chang. Do you think they did that on purpose.

I guess so, too... but we can't see Hermione or Luna's hands, so we don't really know... Although, I do see what you mean. I think it's just the way the actors were positioned or the images chosen to be shown... I was more drawn to the fact that everyone but Hermione and Harry are in their uniforms.

Hermione does have a wand in here hand. You can barely see it, though.

Her right hand is peaking out from her side at the bottom. Her hand is not behind her back. I'll use paint to point it out.

Her hand and wand are both definately there.
Spoiler:

Here it is with the colors inverted.

Just to makeit more clear, I cropped it and enlarged her hand and wand:

Here is the same part lightened a bit. That made the shape of the wand much more clear. I left this one uncircled:

Honestly, I never realized that Cho or Hermione had a wand until this thread. I just wautomatically looked for wands after you mentioned it, and Hermione's was just suddenly obvious . . . much more noticable that Cho's I suppose the fact that the credits go over part of it draws attention away from it.
