I'm thinking Godric's Hollow. So much happened there and that's where it all started so why not finish it there.

I agree it should be at Godric's hollow.

Also it was where lily gave Harry the protection against Voldemort, may the place still has some of that protection left.

If that what you say about Lily is true, don't you think that Voldie suspects that as well??

yeah, but if he suspected that that pleace is protected, don't you think he would try to not have the battle there?? after all, he now know harry's powers and he also knows that he is not that easy as he thought...

Yeah but ur forgetting that Voldemort is a very proud person, if Harry challenges Voldie to duel in Godric's Hollow, Voldemort will be like "this is where it started 17 years ago, and here is where i shall finish it".

i think it will be wherever the final horcrux (apart from the one in V's body) will be found. Voldemort will have found out what harry is doing and will meet him at the final horcrux

i think it will be at hogwarts because when we saw LV ask DD for a teaching job there is a scene where harry sees him reaching for his wand, and ive been thinking he made a horcrux then and there

but thats a theory for another forum

Ur forgetting that u have to kill someone before u can make a horcrux. And i doubt Voldie killed anyone in DD's office, when DD was sitting in front of him.

No you got it all wrong.

To make a horcrux you have to commit a supreme act of evil like murder. Murder will rip the soul apart and the wizard intent upon makin the horcrux uses the damage to his advantage and encases the torn portion in a foreign object (by saying an incantation). So it has to happen as one process and cannot be done separately.

Wow, tricky question ...

Maybe in the cave Dumbledore drank the green potion? Or possibly also at Godric's Hollow?
I think either of the two but of course there are thousands of possibilites, maybe even a location we have never heard of.

Well wherever the duel takes place, let's hope it'll be spectacular.
Maybe Voldemort would lure Harry to some place. We'll find out when book 7 comes out.

I'm not sure. It'd be more interesting if it was in a different place.

yes, he did... in GoF he says something like "yes, I forgot, it is an ancient spell that protects the person the other died for" or something like that... that is why he used his blood... an ancient spell... if a person dies to protect them, the love they had for you protects you... something like that... V simply forgot...

He knows of the spell, but he doesn't know any details. He can't use it(he can't love) and he probably didn't bother studying it as he underestimated it's power.

Yeah and i doubt Voldemort would have learnt about a spell, where a person sacrifices his/her life to protect someone.

I've always liked the idea of Godric's Hollow for the final battle, just for it all coming to an end the same place it all started, and I really like the idea that maybe some of the protection Harry had is still there in some form. We know Harry will be going there at the start of the book, but maybe the search for a Horcrux will lead him back near the end.

I'm not sure if Harry has any protection now. He's seventeen, so his mother's protection will wear off. Since Voldemort used Harry's blood to regenerate his body he can touch Harry without hurting himself(like what happened in book 1). So Harry will have to fend for himself.

yeah... but then Sirius and DD died for him... may be it is not as powerful as his mother's, but it has to be some kind of protection...

They didn't exactly sacrifice their lives for him like Lily. Sirius died in battle. Dumbledore might have sacrificed himself, but we don't know if that gave Harry protection. And if it's less powerful, how's that gonna help Harry against Voldemort?
