Hbp is a nice book, with a sticking on a handful of matters throughout its lasting - no, really a HANDFUL. (not going to feature my opinion about the book here). I find the book one of the average ones of the series, rated between Goblet of Fire (Great book) and Chamber of Secrets (Average book). My problem is, and I think a few more will have this problem (I hope not though) If the book is like this...
WHAT WILL THE EVIL EDITOR DO TO THE MOVIE?
I dread at the though of the sixth movie so much that I heavily consider not going to see it. I read there are going to be two new, not described in the book characters (Screw you, Nigel!) as well as a nice (cough) Rugby - I meant, Quidditch uniform. This makes me think, happily, that Quidditch is going to be featured in this movie. (Something I miss heavily from back in the second movie, which was one of the best Quidditch movies around) But. If Harry's emotions are featured so much in the book, how will they take them to the movies?
Let me tell you, fellow PF'ers. They will NOT.
They will place a nice handful of over-lasting events or make a really short movie. I fear Riddle's memories are going to be utterly slaughtered, and I am nearly certain Horace Slughorn is going to look like everything but Horace Slughorn. I am nearly certain that there will be no "train incident" thing, and that they are going to spend 20-30 minutes at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes shop, as well as a quite few more stuff.
I might sound like doing a rant, but it is what exactly I'm doing. I was deeply disappointed by the fifth movie, even if it was one of my totally favorites out of the entire series. (Second after DH, maybe even first) And Hbp is imo, an average book...

The cruel editor is a scary thing to witness or even think about, but I'm telling you now, they will NOT mess up this movie. From what we've heard of it, I suspect it to be done very well. Their three focuses will be Horcruxes, the teenage romance, and Dumbledore's death. The three huge themes in the book, and Lavender will be in it and we'll get some good stuff, I just know for sure so no panicking! _________________
the train incident with malfoy will be in the film as i have seen clips of him using the petrificus totalus spell, also i think spinners end will be slaughtered and the prime ministers scene is not even going to be filmed as apparently no one has been cast for scrimgeour. this also means that percy at xmas will be cut as well as "Harry for Ministry poster boy" will be cut aswell. I also think apparition is going to be slaughtered. Katie Bell and the opal necklace most likely to get the chop as well and maybe the parts where Hermione shows her jealous streak will get slaughtered. _________________ Member #3 of the "David Yates has no direction for the Potter films and should therefore be stoned" club!

Katie Bell has been casted so I guess the opal scene will be in the movie. And, evident in Emma Watson's official website, there will be scenes where Hermione'll get jealous of Ron. _________________

Leeanne has been cast as well. She was cast quite awhile ago. _________________
Yeah, they're going to butcher the hell out of that thing. It seems too detailed to fit into a 4-hour or whatever movie. I fear they're going to leave out the parts where Dumbledore and Harry go back to study the Horcruxes and what-not. I was so mad whan they left out the part in The Order of the Phoenix where Harry smashes stuff in Dumbledore's office- honestly, that was one of the best parts. What if they leave out the part when they convince Slughorn? Whatever happens, they'll be leaving out something good. _________________ I love you.
"'Jiggery pokery!' said Harry in a fierce voice. 'Hocus pocus- squiggly wiggly'
'MUUUUUUM!' cried Dudley.
(Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets)
hopefully it is as good as the book. coz it has the whole snape fleeing thing and dd being all weak at the 3 broomsticks and i cant wait to see how they do the whole battle thing. and the dark mark! cant wait _________________

Well, you see why spoilers are evil? I was happier when I wasn't going on trailer, spoiler websites and letting the movies reveal everything to me. If anyone here feels the same, just don't open spoilers and let the movie surprise you. _________________ http://z4.invisionfree.com/HPX/ - Looking for more members!

I feel your pain. Yates and whoever else who "runs" the whole show will do something, anything to crush the movie to bits... They did so with OotP, what makes HBP any different? But then again, maybe Yates has learned his lesson and did something alright with this film; in which case, I'll be first in line for DH. _________________ "I reside in the clouds."
