If you are talking about the activation email used to verify your email. It usually takes 1 minute to a few hours, not that long.

Well i still haven't gotten an e-mail and i have made sure everything was right but still no email its been like 5 hours

Give it 24 hours or so, DarMonkey will be on tomorrow and can manually activate your account.
