Well actually, any way they do it, it would seem unfinished as it was only half a book...so they could really do it anywhere..

Not really... I mean, it will seem unresloved.. but all the endings have been so far, since it's a continuing story.
But there are certain points in the book they could end it on and it woul dflow better than other parts.

Oh, for sure, but I mean when each movie finished it left me with a feeling of completion, because I saw it as a standard year at hogwarts. At the end he just go back to the Dursley's and we wait for the next movie.

i think thats to late on bear in mind that they can't make the time over 2 and a half hours or people will get bored

That's debatable, lol. Titanic and LotR ws even longer than that.

I guess they don't want to leave any important parts out. I wish that we didn't have to wait almost half a year for the second part of one movie to come out though. 
I don't know where they should split it. Maybe after ummmmm. Nevermind. I don't know. Just not a cliffhanger.

i think they'll split it at fleur and bill's cottage...
when harry's mulling over in his thoughts.. about dobby and stuff....
thought it'd be kool 2 have it when ron leaves.. but i think tht's 2 soon

True, but LoTR had Peter Jackson directing it, his stuff doesn't bore very easily.
I agree with whoever it was who said that they should split it when Xeno first mentions the DH, make it all mysterious and stuff. People who only watch the movies will be like "oooohh, what are the Deathly Hallows". It will give them something to really look forward to.
