I voted that he was an idiot. I mean, his scenes were funny, but what he did to all those people, altering their memories, was pretty jerky of him.

I would have liked to have seen him come back in some way and vindicate himself. Wasn't he sort of getting his memory back in OotP?

Not really, he was just l;earning things over again, like joined up writing. I think bits and pieces of his personality hung around, though. If parts of his memory ever does come back, it won't ever come back completely, JKR would see to that, lol.

even though some of his scenes were funny i was glad to see him go. And i really think that whole bit in OotP where he was in the hospital was really useless.

Well he was just a plot device as a way to get the trio to see the plant brought to th Unspeakable. Also, while they were there the trio and us (the readers) got a glimpse of Neville's parents and got to see first-hand what he has left for parents. Twas absolutely heartbreaking.

I voted for the second one. I know he is pretty funny, but he could get pretty annoying also.

i dislike him really, cause he did an awful thing, obliviating ppl and stuff

but some of the things that happened in CoS were sooo funny with him, like the dueling club, that made me laugh so much, and the pixies part too, i had a good laugh with it Laughing

He is an idiot. A coward. To leave children in the middle of danger? But without him, the book wouldn't be the same.
