Now I know that some characters DO have middle names that have been confirmed by JKR...but I was wondering about the other people.
What do you think the other character's middle names should be?
((Please tell me if this thread has already been made. KTHX.))
All I can think of is this:
Lily Endora Evans-Potter. ?? Hm...maybe not.
erg. What do you think??

....Is Hermione's middle name Jane????

But that's good.
I always imagined him to be named:
Severus Tobias Snape.
Because of his father....

Most of the charcters have their parents first names as their middle names. Well, the first borns do, anyway.
William Arthur Weasley
Harry James Potter
Ginevra Molly Weasley, etc
So I would wager that Snape's middle name is Tobias.

Explanation from the lexicon:
In 2004, Jo told us her middle name was 'Jane' (WBD); however Rowling changed it to 'Jean" in Book 7, possibly so that Hermione and Umbridge wouldn't share the same middle name. 'Jean' is also one of the middle names of Rowling's daughter Mackenzie.

I love that name! On top of that, it would be so right for Snape to have a name with the word "bias" in it. He was one of the most biased characters in the series.

if my mother named lily chrysanthemum id have shoot myself... or any other two combo flower names...
though i think petunia got the short end of the stick... i would hate that name...
i thought lily's name had been mentioned before too... maybe it hasnt...

I agree with the "bias" idea. I would like to see him as Severus Tobias Snape.
