Yeah, she does! Well she has to be one of my favorite all time characters. First of all she is a Hufflepuff! And Secondly she is awesome. ;]

I've got to go now, so I don't have time to look up the quote, but I'm positive that she had purple hair at some point in the book. I'm pretty sure that it was at the beginning.

yes, she had purple hair when harry first met her, then when she went with harry to his room to help him pack, she changed it to pink and thats how harry found out she was a metamorphagus
she had it pink for the rest of the book

You know, I don't really fond of the female characters in HP. Hermione is too smart, sometimes, she's such an unsufferable know-it-all and she gives too much lecture to the boys.
Ginny has a forceful personality but somehow she's a bit too strong. She could be a boy. It's lucky that she's always supportive to Harry. Otherwise I don't know how Harry handles it.
Mrs Weasley is too protective.
Luna is a bit weird. She will tell you things you don't even dream about it and most likely you really don't know how to respond.
Lavender is too girly.
Fleur is very beautiful but too full of herself.
Prof. MacG is a fair teacher but very straight and you don't want to cross her.
Here we are, with Tonks, the most easy-going girl in the book. You can totally relax yourself in her company. She's cute, funny, and adorable, a bit nosey and sentimental, which make her even more real. |

I agree it's just how I pictured her to look like too in the books with Bubblegum Pink hair but Purple looks good too , well she's a Metamorph so she looks very pretty in Purple or pink , and plus Nat looks good in Purple hair and is doing a brillant job playing Tonks in the films so far too . IMO
