I have just noticed something while i read the gof. Now maybe i read it incorrectly feel free to correct me if i am wrong. In the book about midway through harry sees snape and karakroff arguing over their dark marks becoming clearer although harry does not know what they are argueing over as he does not yet know they are former death eaters.
Anyway later he falls asleep in clas and has that dream of voldy. Afterwards he goes to dumbledoore and he finds the penseive and dumbledoore explains what it is after he has seen the memory of barty crouch etc. Then dumbledoore starts taking memories out his ear and putting them in the penseive and harry sees the one of a young bertha jorkins and a memory of snape and karkoroff arguing over it becoming clearer. Is this a coincidence? Is it the same memory as harrys? Was he their as well maybe invisible or someting? Any theories ? |

I just thought that the memory Dubledore was extracting from his mind of Karkoroff and Snape argueing was from before Voldemort's semi-defeat(when harry was a baby).
but maybe you're right. maybe Dumbledore was there.. watching them, just like when Dumbledore was watching Harry goto the Mirror of Erised. Cuz remember, Dumbledore said he has seen Harry goto the Mirror a few times. But Harry never saw him, which meant he was there, but invisable, which could be the same way Dumbledore knows abotu Snape and Karkoroff fighting.
Good find. |

That was not a memory of Snape and Karkaroff arguing. It was a memory of Snape coming to Dumbledore and telling him that the Dark Mark was coming back. I believe it said
"It's getting clearer, Karkaroff's too..."
To me that isn't Snape and Karkaroff arguing, but Snape talking to some one (Dumbledore) about Karkaroff |
