Hello again, whats your favourite bit of ootp?
Edit: That you would like to see on the film.
I really liked the Weasley twins departure from Hogwarts, and of course the whole battle at the Ministry. I liked the bit when DD comes to the atrium to help Harry against LV.
But my favourite part is when the centaurs carry Umbridge into the forest, i hated her so much by then that i was desperate for something bad to happen to her. Evil evil woman
I forgot to mention, this is the board for the movie of OOTP, and this thread should be
In the Book version of OOTP (since the movie hasn’t been released yet). _________________
Willow, I edited your post so that it deals with your favorite part that you expect to see in the movie.
Mine well it was the whole Ministry of Magic Fiasco. I want to see it all happen on the screen. At least we dont have to wait that much:) _________________
I agree the Ministry of Magic battle will be awesome on the big screen, however, there's one thing I hope they change. I don't have a book to quote from, but I believe that Dumbledore's arrival to the battle is described as one in which nobody even knew he was there until someone (I think it was a Death Eater) yelled something to the effect of, "Hey, it's Dumbledore, run!" This entrance always seemed boring to me, I mean we're talking about the most powerful wizard in the world, who's just learned that six of his students are being attacked by his enemies henchmen, and all he does is open a door. Please. The director better realize this is too boring for a movie and instead of Dumbledore walking into the room unannounced, they instead change it to where Dumbledore blows the door of its hinges and then we get a close up shot where you see the fire and fury in his eyes. Maybe it's just me, but I think that would be awesome.
I agree! I hope they dont use ( I forgot his name Nevell? Newell? the one who is directing GOF) I dun know but i didnt like any of the films he has directed.... _________________
they arent using newell, they arent sure who yet... i dont think. i personally cannot wait for the scene where fred and george depart. my favorite part of the book! i love the phelps brothers playing fred and george too.
I persoanlly hate cho. She's annoying lol. All she does is cry over cedric.
I cant wait to see the part When Harry see's the snake (or is the snake) attack MR weasly. I think it'll be interesting to see how they do that.
And the whole Ministry of magic battle will be interesting tooo. _________________

It would be really fun to see their depature, it's the funniest moment in the whole book! _________________
I really hope they have the exit of Fred and George. That is great. I just hope it looks good on screen as I picture it from the book. _________________ The best place in the world

My favorite parts are the one where Fred and George unleash those huge fireworks and the battle at the Ministry. It was so hilarious, how Umbridge couldn't do any thing. And the battle was real tense. Let's hope they include the fireworks part in the movie. _________________ Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus
Believe it or not, my favorite part that I hope they put into the movie is at the end of the book when Harry is having a break down and destroying Dumbledore's posessions.
i loved the part were Harry shouts at Ron and Hermione for meanening Voldermort and Diggory. I really wanted to cry when I read that. Harry's still depressed and angry about the death of Diggory and the return of Voldermort...he does alot of shouting in his fifth year and looses his temper alot too. _________________
I can't wait to see Snape's memories in the OotP movie (where you see young James, Sirius, Lupin and Pettigrew taunt a young Snape). That was an absolutely fascinating scene to read in the book; I do hope they do it justice in the films. : )
I'm also, of course, looking forward to the Ministry of Magic battle.
I like 'Snape's Worst Memory' and the part where Sirius tells Harry about some of his relations. If I am right about who RAB is, they will have a tricky time in the seventh movie if they miss that out.
the writing-with-my-own-blood scene and the department of mysteries thing would be nice, as it explains a lot! _________________ Behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes. -?
