Is the book the same as the movie?

Because I'm watching that right now.. And it's very good.. Although I know they always mess up movies and books are so much better.. Maybe I should get it and read it.

idk abt the movies, but the book is good... idk abt the sequels, but i love the first book. ive read half before, then i left it... a couple of years later i went back to reading it. i just skimmed throught the first half and read the second half... im done with it. i love the book. i normally wouldnt read a classical novel.. but this is really good...

the movie did quite well, it was pretty accurate. christian bale as laurie is swooooooooooooon worthy. I didn't like the mr baehr they had though Sad he wasn't adorable. and actually that part of the story was where they ran amok the most...but even then it wasn't a whole lot. but def read the book! there's so much more in it.

i saw clips of the movie... er... he doesnt look like laurie... he looks too old for laurie... and jo isnt jo... shes not winona.

They made about three different versions of the movie... I think Winona Ryder did a very good job, as did Christian Bale. The entire cast was amazing, imo. Actually their ages were fairly close to the character they were portraying, considering the book/movie spans over several years.
