Potterpals is never a +i (Invite only) mode channel, this is rarely used, it has not been secured like this for a very long time Sweettahsin. Only way we would invite only the channel is if it was under attack from bots.

The new channel is on irc.ipocalypse.net - the one on wyldryde has been locked down for now and will eventually be dropped. The iPocalypse potterpals channel is open and has about 20 people in it at the moment.

This is when I suggest going to mirc.com and downloading it. You an figure it all out on your own, it is all hands on learn by yourself things.
