At the beginning of the "Slug Club" chapter the three are discussing Draco's visit at Borgin and Burkes. Ron says the following:
"Maybe he’s broken his Hand of Glory", said Ron vaguely, as he attempted to straighten his broomstick’s bent tail twigs. "Remember that shriveled-up arm Malfoy had?"
I remember that Draco was interested in that object while visiting the shop with his father in book 2, but I couldn't find anything about him getting it or else Ron even knowing about this Hand. As far as I know Harry told nobody about it.
But as Draco used the Hand of Glory at the end of book 6, there must be something I missed. Maybe someone can help? |

It must not be mentioned in the book. Even the lexicon doesn't have the instance when Draco got the hand. It doesn't have the time that Ron saw the hand prior to this comment.
Here is the page that references the Hand of Glory in the lexicon:

Yeah, we're supposed to just assume that since Draco is spoiled, he got what he wanted. _________________
