700 Live Snakes Found on Plane in Vietnam
Friday, December 21, 2007


Vietnamese airport officials discovered 700 snakes labeled "live fish" on a flight that arrived from Indonesia, Australia’s News Limited reported on Friday.


"The snakes were alive when they were found in the cargo," a quarantine officer at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport told News Limited. "Seven hundred snakes were later destroyed when no one claimed ownership."

The container was found on a Thai Airways flight TG 682.

Awwww why couldn't they just give 'em to a zoo or pet store? Poor snakes. Sad I miss Boof (cutest snake ever- my friend Heath's.)

one of my friends has 70-80 venemous spiders, scorpions, and snakes. about half he's caught himself..... (he lives in Arizona) He has about like 10 black widows. Scary huh!!!
