Neither haha. But if I had to choose, Survivorman, because Man vs. Wild is a total fake. If you're gonna make a show like that & sleep in a hotel after, at least don't let your camera crew film you doing it!

OMG...I love this topic! I'm totally on Team Stroud!
In general, the 'Survivorman' show makes more sense. It provides a more realistic premise of how one can get stranded in a situation, and what things can be used to survive. That Bear guy on 'Man vs. Wild', who is fully equipped (realistic!), just says, "Hey, I'm on an iceberg, and this is what you should do if you fall in ice cold water!"
OR, illustrates Bear, "If you're thirsty, squeeze elephant dung for its liquid content." Um...any brighter ideas? Perhaps try to find other sources of water, like digging a hole first?
Ridiculous! ha
On the other hand and brighter note....can you believe what Stroud has to do to get some shots, esp those shots of himself walking in the distance? He has to set up the camera in point A, walk however far to point B, then come back and retrieve the camera. Its crazy cool! |
