wouldn't it be harder to get the horcrux if it is at the bottom of the lake rather that getting it in the middle on an island? _________________ Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. |

true... but what if voldemort wanted to visit his horcrux?
i would suggest to voldie to keep his horcruxes in such a way that only parselmouths can get it... after all, he believed that he was the only parselmouth in the world... and why would he suspect that a stupid little boy (how arrogant) would know about his precious horcruxes, what they were, where they were, and how to get it. _________________

It would be, but voldemort was too arogent to believe that anyone would get close enough to it to actully take it. He must've put it there so he could visit it and inwardly bost about how powerful he was before Harry defeated him the first time.
