I would have sat better with me if they hadn't called it "I Am Legend." I don't think I'd have minded nearly as much if they'd said they got some ideas from the book, but given it a different name.
It can't be an easy book to make a movie out of, though. So much of the book is what's going on in Neville's head and that just doesn't translate to screen well.
