If you are a fan of this book and movie,I'm sorry for saying this.
I HATE THAT MOVIE!I won't say it's a copy of Harry Potter,but the whole story is kind old-fashioned.A boy founds a rock,and he thinks that the rock will help him to feed his poor family during the winter.That's stupid,and you have it in million movies.Although,book became a little bit popular when the movie got out.

I liked the books ok. The movies plot, however evolved far to fast, and they cut out have the book.

And yes, the author used so many other books. I drew camparisons from several other fantasy books I've read.

Of course you have to cut him some slack. It is pritty hard to come out with out finding it is parralel with some thing else out there. I should know. I've just resently found a new idea for a story after about a month of though on the subject.

I also really disliked the movie, based on the book. But, if you go straight off the movie and not the book, it was a fantastic movie, you just gotta not pay attention to the book.

It just evolved to fast, it seemed like the whole story only took place in less than a week in the movie.

I know. they rushed it too much. But, i think it is a pretty good movie, overall. It just....not as good as a book.

Next fall. I posted it in the Eragon thread in books. Actually i think it said inheritance trilogy, but w/e.
