Encyclopedia?If she puts all characters,background etc. etc. that encyclopedia would have around four thousand pages.I would grow fur before I finish it.

Well whatever JKR does, she definetaly aint makin ANOTHER Harry Potter book. Some people just can't let go can they lol. It's OVER! Laughing

The series was about HARRY not his KIDS. If she started doin SPIN-OFFS like JAMES POTTER AND THE... then it would jus mess the wholebook up and eventually people will get tired of it. The book is OVER once and for all. Everythin that has a beginning has an ENDING.

Albus walked up to the small stool and sat carefully on his bottom, and unknowingly, Professor Longbottom placed the old, dirty hat upon Albus's head and magically the hat spoke.
"Ah, another Potter, luckily I might do as your father said, Gryffindor would be better then Slytherin, eh?"
Albus was so nervous he whispered without a chance to think, "Ah, Slytherin is..err.."
The hat nodded and burst out, "Slytherin"

Like, that would be weird.

i thimk it would be an interesting expirence to read those books but i don't think i would enjoy jks stuff as much and i really don't want to be another one of those diehard fans who trough them selfs at her feet pleading for just ONE more book Rolling Eyes

Rose had once again rushed past Albus and Hugo for the second time after Potions class, it was very ignorant for Hugo, though he was getting a bad temper because of what he had heard about, Rose and Scorpius were smooching each other privately in places that no one could fins them, but as Scorpius came along to see Rose, Hugo followed her and pushed Scorpius out of his way, "Rose! Father said that Slytherins are..."
Rose burst out, "Hugo, what is your problem, thats dad, not me...now go play with Albus"

I think I'd love the idea of the continuance of the HP books. I'd love to know what happens to his kids...and how wizarding and Hogwarts has changed through the years. JK has got skills, and HP was her moneymaker. She said she really enjoyed making the books, so why doesn't she keep going w/them? I don't think a series involving his kids would ruin the nostalgia of the first 7 books, if shes the one writing them they'd have to be at least as good...and then we'd have a whole new series to look forward to. WOOT! Very Happy

No, no and no.

Harry Potter is great, but the series is over, Voldemort's dead and he took a lot of people with him.

A series about their kids would just seem like an attempt to keep it going and make more money. As I have said before, people would still read them but they would just destroy the original 7 books. I know everyone loves HP and would like to keep reading more, but I don't think it's going to happen. Also, I think JK would get a bit sick of writing about the world of HP for so long!

I do agree with u there....DONT MESS UP A GOOD THING!! lol.....JKR did an amazing job writing the best selling book series in all of history....she left few....if any stones uncovered and it doesnt need to be tampered with at all....no books about kids or ancestors.....and encyclopedia would be GREAT......

on a note about the "kids"....wat would go on besides them taking classes at Hogwarts and getting detention from Neville! lol.....all the bad or interesting people and events are dead or over.....it would be pish posh silly stuff to try to make some $$$$$$$$$

There is a limit untill I can agree with both sides.
Book about how Voldemort even became so dangerous wouldn't ruin the series.It would be just like finding out what happened through all his years.I mean JKR still didn't give us all answers we want to know.
