When a Band is bad live it's usually a known fact. I have friends who are fans that tell me how bad live they are. And really it's mostly all Amy that sucks live.
I've seen bands i hate that are good live, and i've seen bands I love that re terrible live.

I'm not naive, I do know Evanescence has a lot of haters and guess what? that's AWESOME! Every band must have a strong fanbase and also people that dislikes them. Otherwise they would be a mediocre band.
I don't know what you base yourself on to say Amy Lee sucks live. If you say it because Amy losing her breath on stage, that is because of her energy headbanging and moving back and forth. I and most fans prefer to see her doing that on stage instead of just standing in front of a mic and just sing. B-O-R-I-N-G!!!
To us fans and thousands of other people, they DO NOT suck live. So it is not more of a fact, it's more of an opinion and you got yours, I dont want to change it and I honestly don't care at this point now. We're all free to think what we want.
Feel free to say what you want after this reply, I won't care enough to check.
Ps. People still whinning about Moody and John LeCompt leaving the band need to get over it. They both have musical projects of their own now.

I wake up to my Evanescence CD every morning... but I have to admit that's just because it's my least favorite CD and it's not in my car for that reason... 
But it's still really nice, I used to like them better when I was younger, now I don't really care for them that much anymore, it's nice, that's it for me.

I love a lot of their songs! I'd say my favorite would be "Lithium" or "Call Me When You're Sober"

Evanescence is a totally awesome band! Their totally one of my favorite bands. My 2 top songs by them are "Wake Me Up "Sweet Sacrifice".

Their live CD isn't bad. i don't think they'd be great singing the Open Door songs. Most of the music is computer generated.
It was a disappointing album. Evanescence had alot to live up to when they released Fallen...
