nah, i dont think JK wrote all of these books and unfolded this gigantic plot just to have voldemort kill harry. couldve done that before the books began

if dumbledore keeps saying that death is not to be feared, and death is but the next great adventure, obviously jkr doesnt think death is a punishment. so it would be okay if harry died.

and many things point to the harry is a horcrux thing

1. even though harry is nothing like a slytherin, the sorting hat wanted to put him there. why? because it saw the soul of the heir of slytherin, voldie.

2. harry can speak parseltongue. dumbledore said voldie unintentionally transferred his powers to harry. well, what if that included his soul as well?

3. voldie could possess harry easily (in ootp). that is because harry is his horcrux. so it would be easier to possess it, rather than possess another being like ron or hermione for instance, or bella.

Me and my friends were talking about this earlier this afternoon. It would make sense for Harry to be a horcrux; after-all, there is no evidence that Voldemort even used AK on Harry.

I wouldn't put it past him that he is one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.

yeah that makes sense! at the end of HBP, Snape said," Leave Potter, he belongs to the Dark Lord!" when one of the death eaters tryed to kill Harry.
and plus, isnt the scar kinda a sign that he might be a horcrux.

yeah he is a horcrux. yeah it would be too disney-ish if harry had a happy ending. it would be more meaningful if harry died because of love (not because he was stupid enough to get into voldemort's way), or if neither of them died, and voldmeort was redeemed.

I don't think he is. Why would Voldemort put part of his soul in something he is tyring to kill???? That makes no sense at all! Waste your soul on something you want to kill.

The runor is Voldy tried to kill Harry. Does JKR write in any book that Voldy performed the killing curse? If Voldy knew that Harry was part of the prophesy, knowing that harry would try to kill him, what better place to hide a horcrux? Harry would have to kill himself after destroying the other six parts of Voldy that are still out there.
If the last chapter of book seven is "Scar" (revealed in a theory thread), I think that either the scar will dissappear when Voldy is killed or however JKR writes it up, it will have a significant event in the final chapter.

i think Harry is a horcruxes because dumbledore said that it takes killing some one to make one and yes he killed harrys parents and he tryed to kill Harry and i reckon part of voldamots soul went in to him some how

what if voldemort created a horcrux in harry accidentally when he tried to kill him and didnt know that at the time then later realized this and how he did it and decided to make more to where it could work to his advantage. The prophecy does basically say one must live in order for the other to survive as in harry must live as the last horcrux in order for voldemort to survive.

ummm you're way over reacting. However...voldy has 5 other horcruxes, and he could make another one with Harry's death. If Harry were the only or last one then he'd be dumb to kill him.

yet I fail to understand how it would have happened on accident, and Harry would have to kill himself and then have someone else finish him off...but I don't think its going to happen that way. Harry is the one with the power the dark lord knows not, the power that will let him vanquish Voldemort. Not anybody else.

Halfblood, you make an interesting point about Harry possibly beeing a Horcrux. However I am not convinced harry is one.

Dumbledore told Harry that One (Harry or Voldy) could live whilst the other was alive (as per the prophecy), meaning Harry wwould have to Kill or be Killed. If this is the case, then Harry has no hope of being the victor, he can't kill himself then kill Voldy.

Dunno what the last one could be, but I don't believe it is Harry
