truthfully i don't even want to think about the end of the word... it's just a scary thought
my grandmother has told me that they've made these claims before in the past... one in 2000 when al the clocks and everything changed over into the new millenium.... once in '76 i think... one in '64 possibly... _________________
I once read a book about teenagers who were crusading in the 1200s, and there was this one guys who claimed that the end of the world was coming. He used scriptures as examples. Ever since I read that, I assumed that people probably have been claiming this since a long time ago, use examples from scriptures and other places as proof. I don't let it panic me. If the world is going to end, then it is going to end. A being as insignificant as myself is not important enough to stop the forces of nature. _________________
I'm saying its as likely you die what ever particular day they say as it is on any other day. All statistics on accidents or life spans aside.
Also, I want to know about this calendar thing, it was never explained, or I just couldn't be bothered reading. Are they refusing to make a calendar for 2013? _________________

Yeah, people have been predicting the end of the world since the rise of mankind. They've all obviously been wrong, as have the hundreds of predictions about the second coming of christ, and armageddon. The human race is really paranoid - it thinks it's going to be eradicated like... every 20 or so years. _________________
