I think It will be through the portrait. I think a second one will be at the DD house. But that makes me wonder, does he have a house. I don't think he stays in the school whole year. Snape has one as well. If he does have a house then I imagine Harry has to go there

no he lives in the school. i believe the teachers do too

Then why did Snape have a home, that he and PP were residing in?
IMO, Everyone has somewhere else where they live, but choose to stay at Hogwarts. |

He already is a portrait. At the end of book six Harry sees it in his office.
