I read every book in German and 1-3 in English. I like them.
I just watched the first movie, because Prince Kaspian is not long at the movies in Germany. The movie was pretty cool, although a bit ancient.

I got all the books in one big book, they are in reading order . . . The Horse And His Boy was rubbish, The Magician's Nephew was awesome, L,W&W is 2./5 and im now on . . . I am on Prince Caspian, it is not that good, I can't wait for The Silver Chair or The Last battle, Dawntreader don't sound too good...

Please reply,

I love the series. My favourite book is The lion, the witch and the wardrobe. I have them all at home.

I've read them all, but if you plan on reading the series, DO NOT READ A HORSE AND HIS BOY!It's a waste of everyones time!I loved the other books, however. My favorite was Prince Caspian.

I like the Horse and His Boy. it wasn't as good as some of the others, but it was still a good read.

I read the entire series a few years back when the first film came out from Disney. I borrowed them all at the library and read them all.
They're really good, I especially like Witch, and the Wardrobe and the fifth book, the Dawntreader.

i've read the series several times, and i love em all. a great choice if you're into high fantasy literature with some kind of depth. my favorite is a tie between voyage of the dawn treader and the last battle.

Are you sure about that? Because The Magicians Nephew covers the creation of Narnia. Why would Lewis have meant it to be read next to last when it happens first?

I loved this series, I admit some parts got a little dull but it was all together very good. I think if you understand the true meaning of the books, The Last Battle wouldn't seem so bazaar as some people seem to think it was.

lewis originally wrote the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe first. but later, publishers stuck the magician's nephew in as number one so the series would be chronologically correct.

Yeah. They are better read in the publishing order, not chronological.

Anyway. I have read up to The Magician's Nephew, but haven't read it or The Last Battle yet. After The Horse and his Boy, I just got a bit tired of all the religious symbolism, and decided to take a break.

I'll probably read those two at somepoint probably before the end of the year if I have time.

Oh ok, I thought that you were putting it in chronological order, I was a little confused. I read it chronologically, I prefer to read things that way, it's easier to keep track of what's going on.

I agree, Voyage of the Dawn Treader was my favorite as well. I hope they make a movie of that one.

I can't stand the book. I feel like the author makes you wait and drags things on that need not be dragged. It also seemed a bit boring at times.
